Shakeel knows that copywriters aren’t hired to write pretty words on paper. He recognizes that great copywriters are hired for all the creative, seemingly crazy things that breed within the deepest depths of their brain place. He understands that becoming an exceptional copywriter isn’t about thinking outside the box. It’s about sometimes thinking, while outside, sitting on a box until a great idea passes by. Shakeel yearns to make a living as a creative rule-breaker, but there are rules he still has to learn. That’s why he grabbed his English undergraduate degree in 2013, interned at some local ad/marketing agencies for a few years, and is now pursuing his graduate degree at the Academy of Art University.
